New Years Eve 2017/18

New Years Eve 2017 and the arrival of 2018 kicked off with a bang for David. Appointed by Television New Zealand to Produce the New Years Eve Fireworks celebrations live across the TVNZ1,2 and Duke Channels as well as other platforms in the family such as TVNZ On Demand and ONE News1Now.

The broadcast was also truely international as it was carried LIVE on both AP News and Reuters News service with LIVE telecast on CNN and CNN International , CCT China and a host of other nations as new Zealand became the first country in the world to start the New Year.

The display ran for just over 6 minutes and featured LIVE cameras around the Auckland Harbour and city areas as well as in the air.
